Anna Homes for Sale under $500K

Anna, Texas Homes Under $500,000

Under $500,000 in Anna is where floor plans start to stretch out. You are generally looking at four bedrooms, often a study or flex room, sometimes a second living area upstairs, and square footage that comfortably absorbs a growing family. Lots get a little wider, garages sometimes go to three bays, and the finish level in newer construction moves up to quartz counters, larger islands, and covered back patios.

This is also the range where resale homes become genuinely competitive with new builds. A four-year-old home in an established Anna neighborhood may already have the fence, the sod, the gutters, the window coverings, and a few thousand dollars of landscaping in place, all things a new build typically does not include.

New Build or Resale?

There is no universal right answer, but there is a useful way to decide. Add up what the new home will still need after closing, compare that to what the resale already has, then look at the tax and assessment picture for each specific address. Newer subdivisions in Anna are more likely to carry PID or MUD assessments layered on top of the standard rate, and that difference can end up larger than the price gap between the two homes you are choosing between.

Let’s Walk Both Options

Seeing a new build and a comparable resale back to back on the same day tells you more than a week of scrolling listings. I am happy to set that up.
